Terms & copyright

The short version

• Your music stays yours. You keep every right to what you upload. You give Musical Genius permission to stream it, show it, and let people share links to it, for as long as it is on the site.
• Only upload what you own or control. If you do not own the music, video, artwork or lyrics, or have permission from the people who do, please do not upload it.
• Be decent. No harassment, hate, scams, or anything illegal. We can hide content or remove accounts that break these rules.
• You can leave any time. Delete a song or video and it is removed from the site.
• You must be 13 or older to create an account.

Your information

We keep the details you give us (name, email, profile, uploads) and basic listening counts so artists can see their numbers. We do not sell your personal information. Your email is never shown publicly.
